1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Carnes and Sons Air Conditioning website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website.

2. Services

Carnes and Sons Air Conditioning provides residential AC and heating services including repair, maintenance, and installation in the San Antonio, Texas metropolitan area. All services are subject to availability and scheduling. Pricing provided on this website is for informational purposes and may vary based on the specific requirements of your project.

3. Estimates & Pricing

Prices mentioned on our website (including but not limited to the $59 service call fee and system replacement starting prices) are subject to change without notice. All estimates provided in person or by phone are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Final pricing will be confirmed before any work begins.

4. Promotions & Offers

Promotional offers displayed on our website are subject to the specific terms, conditions, and expiration dates stated with each offer. Offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any promotion at any time.

5. Financing

Financing is provided by Synchrony Financial, subject to credit approval. Carnes and Sons is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. Financing terms, rates, and eligibility are determined by Synchrony Financial. Please review their terms and conditions before applying.

6. Warranty & Right to Repair

We stand behind our work — but in order to do that, we need the chance to make it right. If an issue arises with a system we installed or repaired, we ask that you contact us first before calling another contractor. This is our first right to repair, and it's important for a few reasons:

• If another contractor works on a system we installed, our labor warranty is voided. We can't guarantee our work if someone else has been in there.
• Manufacturer warranties are separate from our labor warranty and are governed entirely by the manufacturer's terms.
• Our standard repair warranty covers parts and labor for one year from the date of service, subject to specific conditions provided at the time of service.

Drain lines: We do not warranty drain lines — even on brand-new installations. Here's why: drain lines are part of your home's existing plumbing. We connect to them, but we didn't install them and we can't control their condition. Clogs, leaks, and buildup in drain lines are a homeowner maintenance item.

Bottom line — we install the unit, but we didn't build it. We're here to help if a problem comes up, and we'll always do our best to take care of you.

7. Emergency & After-Hours Service

We understand that AC problems don't always happen during business hours. After-hours and emergency service calls may include additional fees, which will be communicated upfront before we dispatch.

Here's something we always tell our customers: keep a portable or window AC unit on hand. AC systems are mechanical — and like anything mechanical, unexpected things can happen. Parts may need to be ordered, or scheduling may not line up the same day. Having a backup keeps your family comfortable while we get things sorted out.

We respond as quickly as we can, but factors like parts availability, time of day, and scheduling can affect our response time. We'll always keep you in the loop.

8. Equipment & Workmanship

We install equipment manufactured by companies like Carrier, Goodman, Day & Night, and Payne. We stand behind our workmanship 100% — but we can't control manufacturing defects. If a part fails under manufacturer warranty, we'll work directly with the manufacturer on your behalf to get it resolved as quickly as possible.

Think of it this way: we're your advocate. If something goes wrong with the equipment, we'll go to bat for you. That's what family businesses do.

9. Licensing

Carnes and Sons Air Conditioning operates under Texas AC license TACLB29435E, regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR), PO Box 12157, Austin, TX 78711, phone 1-800-803-9202, www.tdlr.texas.gov.

10. Website Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use our website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site or interfere with other users. All content on this website — including text, images, and design — is the property of Carnes and Sons Air Conditioning and may not be reproduced without written permission.
