Brands we recommend

I'm Clint. These are the brands I recommend, and I like each one for a different reason. Let's talk about what matters to you—keeping the cost down, getting more comfortable, or investing in a system for the long haul.

Goodman

Rugged, reliable and practical

I like Goodman because they do one thing really well: build a rugged, reliable heating and cooling system without making it more complicated or expensive than it needs to be. If you want your house comfortable and your budget intact, this is a brand I feel good recommending. Straightforward doesn't mean second-rate—it means you're putting your money toward what you actually need.

  • Dependable everyday heating and cooling
  • Keeping the installation cost in check
  • A straightforward system without extra bells and whistles

Carrier logo

Carrier

A step up in everyday comfort

Carrier is where I look when you want more than just cold air. Depending on the model, you can get better energy efficiency, quieter operation, more even airflow and better humidity control. I think of it as a step into premium comfort: you're paying for features you can appreciate while you're living in the house, not just a name on the cabinet.

  • Quieter operation and higher-efficiency options
  • More even airflow and humidity control
  • Premium comfort features matched to your home

American Standard logo

American Standard / Trane

Premium equipment, built for the long haul

I put American Standard and Trane together because they're part of the same brand family, and toughness is what I like about them. Trane says, “It's hard to stop a Trane,” and that captures how I feel about their equipment—built like a tank, with durability at the heart of it. This is a higher-investment choice. If you're planning to stay in your home and long-term durability is your priority, it's one I'd put on your list. We are an authorized American Standard dealer.

  • A premium investment in long-term durability
  • Homeowners planning to stay for the long haul
  • Toughness as a top priority in the equipment choice

Three good choices. Different reasons to pick them.

I don't recommend a more expensive system just because it costs more. Goodman may be exactly what you need. Carrier's comfort features may be worth the step up to you. Or you may prefer the long-term durability I like in American Standard and Trane. None of those is a wrong answer.

The specific model matters, too—not every system has the same features. And no badge can promise a certain lifespan. The installation, maintenance and conditions it runs in all matter. Tell us what you want out of your next system, and we'll explain which options make sense for your home.

Financing from $98/month is available on approved credit for qualifying systems. Text or call for your installed quote and exact payment options.
