We are an authorized American Standard dealer in San Antonio. American Standard builds the same equipment as Trane — same plants, same compressors, same engineering — and has finished at or near the top of independent owner reliability surveys for years running. It is the most expensive line we sell and the one we get called back to the least.
Where it earns its money in Texas is the variable-speed equipment. Instead of slamming on at full blast and shutting off, it runs long and low, which pulls far more humidity out of the house. In a San Antonio August that is the difference between 74 degrees and clammy and 74 degrees and genuinely comfortable.
